A membership is required, but if you are unable to pay, scholarships are available. Pee Wee wrestling starts Dec,5 for any student grades K-8. Practices will be every Monday and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Greg Learnard is also having practices for students at the LCS from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. No membership required, just proof of insurance. The membership for the Mid-Coast Wrestling Club cost 35$ and covers you while wrestling at the club and any USA Wrestling tournaments. These programs are both great opportunities for kids to learn the sport of wrestling and to compete in upcoming youth tournaments this winter. There will be a tournament at Camden Hills Regional High School, January 22, 2006 for Pre-K-8 grade. Weigh-ins are from 7:00-9:00. While most of the furniture and classroom supplies traveled with teachers who moved to new schools, all three elementary buildings — Washington, Roosevelt and McKinley — remain vacant. "Several organizations have verbalized interest in the vacant buildings," said Superintendent Charles Coleman. "As discussions continue, we are awaiting possible offers to purchase those vacant schools. We'll evaluate all offers." Any decisions about selling the buildings will be made by the board of education.
